This retro round is open exclusively to the 18 grantees from the previous TQF round. To qualify, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
1.Grantee eligibility:
- TQF Participation: Only the 18 grantees from the previous TQF round are eligible to participate in this retro round.
- Active contributions: Grantees must be actively contributing to the OP or Superchain ecosystems and have demonstrated tangible progress within the last 5 months.
- Token engineering focus: Contributions must meaningfully promote the awareness, adoption, or application of token engineering principles within the OP and Superchain ecosystems, driving measurable ecosystem engagement or growth..
2. Timeframe:
- 5-Month retroactive period: Only contributions made or significantly advanced during the 5-month retro period (Aug 30 – Jan 30) are eligible for evaluation. Contributions prior to this period will not be considered.
- Retroactive reporting: Grantees must track their progress and submit reporting retrospectively, outlining contributions made during the 5-month period.
3. Tracking in Karma Gap:
- Karma Gap tracking: Grantees are required to track their progress and contributions in Karma gap (https://gap.karmahq.xyz/) throughout the retroactive period. This includes logging deliverables, documentation, and metrics that demonstrate impact.
- Final report submission: The final report summarizing contributions and outcomes achieved must be submitted via Gitcoin’s RetroPGF platform at the end of the 5-month period. Grantees may choose to set milestones in Karma gap to help organize their work, but this is not required.
4. Reporting & transparency:
- Documentation: Grantees must provide supporting documentation for their contributions (e.g., GitHub repositories, research papers, educational content), along with measurable impact metrics (e.g., user adoption, infrastructure improvements).
- Transparency: Contributions must follow best practices for transparency, such as open-source code (where applicable) or publicly accessible deliverables.
