The following items are outside the scope of contributions and will not qualify for the Retroactive round:

• Unrelated contributions: contributions that are not directly focused on driving user adoption, awareness, or engagement within the OP or Superchain ecosystems.
• Minimal or incomplete contributions: contributions that do not demonstrate measurable outcomes or that have shown insufficient progress within the 5-month period.
• Contributions outside the timeframe: contributions made prior to the retro round’s 5-month window or those that fail to show material progress during this timeframe.
• Contributions without ecosystem relevance: contributions that impact ecosystems outside of Optimism or Superchain, without a clear link to advancing token engineering within these ecosystems.
• Self-Promotional work: contributions that focus primarily on self-promotion or personal brand-building without demonstrating tangible ecosystem impact.
• Theoretical work: contributions that are purely academic or theoretical without a clear plan for real-world application or ecosystem adoption and do not demonstrate a pathway to raising awareness, fostering adoption, or driving measurable ecosystem engagement.
