1. Retroactive Period

• Dates: August 30th, 2024 – January 30th, 2025
• Details: This is the period in which your contributions must be made or significantly advanced. Any progress or achievements during this window will be eligible for retroactive funding.
  • Action Items:
    • Track your progress and milestones in Karma Gap during this period.
    • Ensure your contributions align with the scope of the retro round.

2. Mid-Point Check-In (Optional)

• Date: December 2024
• Details: While not mandatory, we encourage you to assess your progress by mid-December. Use this time to review whether your contributions are on track for evaluation, and make any necessary adjustments. TEC team will also host an optional AMA session and will walk you through reporting and application guidelines.
  • Action Items:
    • Self-assess your work based on the evaluation criteria and scope of contributions.
    • Ensure transparency in your documentation, and update Karma Gap with your current progress.

3. Final Submission Deadline

• Dates: January 30th, 2025 – February 15th, 2025
• Details: You will need to submit a round application on Gitcoin’s RetroPGF platform, detailing your contributions during the retroactive period. The application must include all necessary documentation, including links to code repositories, research outputs, educational content, and more (detailed application guidelines will be provided in December, 2024).

    • Prepare your application, ensuring it follows the guidelines provided.
    • Submit your application on Gitcoin’s RetroPGF tool by February 15th, 2025.

4. Evaluation & Voting Period

• Dates: February 15th, 2025 – February 28th, 2025
• Details: During this period, a panel of evaluators will review all submissions based on the predefined evaluation criteria (impact on the OP ecosystem, measurable outcomes, advancement of token engineering, and transparency). The evaluation will be followed by a voting period where relevant stakeholders will help finalize funding decisions.

    • No action required from grantees during this period.
    • You may receive questions or requests for clarification from evaluators if needed, so be prepared to respond quickly.

5. Fund Distribution

• Dates: March, 2025
• Details: Successful projects will receive their retroactive funding based on the evaluation and voting results. Fund distribution will be distributed to the address provided in the application form, and grantees will be notified of the results.

    • You will receive notification of the funding distribution via email and the Telegram group.
    • Ensure you provide correct wallet address in the application for smooth fund distribution.
